66th AGM - Perry elected President

The North Hobart Football Club held it’s 66th Annual General Meeting on Friday 4th December.
Members enthusiastically welcomed the election of Darryn Perry as President following the retirement of club legend John Leedham.
Darryn, a William Leitch medallist and Team of the Century member, said “I’d like to thank John Leedham for the tremendous service he’s given to the club. I’d also like to thank people for their support of my standing for President.
I am here, along with the board, to serve the members, supporters and players of the club. I want the club to move forward by being financially viable and winning premierships. I am aiming to provide the best available resources for our playing and coaching group. There will be some changes in the football department to accommodate this. New coach Clinton Brown is doing a fantastic job. At the moment our standing in the competition isn't number one; we have a great history and with a new board, the best possible team on the field, great members and supporters we can return to being the number one club !

John Leedham was appointed as club patron and thanked the Board, members and players for their support during his 12 years as President. He also wished Darryn Perry all the best for his Presidency.
Bruce Free was elected Vice President and Andrew Eaton, Naomi Hannaford, Wayne Flanagan, Ron Mayne, John Gibb and Dan Garlick were elected to the Board.
Life memberships were presented to Kate Keenan and Tony Hill. Certificates of Merit were presented to Jenny Grubb and Ray "Father" O'Donnell.
