Over the years many players have gone from North Hobart Football Club to play in the elite competition in the land - the VFL now AFL.

Players like Daryn Cresswell, Peter "Percy" Jones, Paul Williams, Alan Rait, Denis Scanlon, Shane Williams and James Cook have gone on to greater heights after receiving their football grounding at North Hobart. Others have come from that competition to offer their expertise to the Demons like John Devine, Daryl Sutton, Garry Davidson and Roy Cazaly.
